I didn’t really realise that the accident last nite at the U-turn near Kg Lubok Pulau, Tutong was a fatal one. I was on the way back from Seria after my weekly badminton routine and was kind of rushing to be back home and who wouldn’t be since it was already beyond 10 pm. Nope I didn’t stop to check it out.
Only learnt about the real scale of the accident when I’m back from work this evening. That was very shocking indeed becoz’ last nite you could literally see a very long queue of cars which stopped by the roadside. A big crane was there to move the trailer away in order to recover the mangled car.
It’s a sad thing that our U-turns especially those along the highways are without proper lightings and I believe such accidents are avoidable. Do we need to wait till lives are lost to learn what’s right and what’s not. I guess “accountability” is just another word in any dictionary … sucks but true …
